Dear Friends,

As you may know, it is the Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation’s goal to help under-privileged children throughout the Las Vegas Valley. We provide incentives to at-risk elementary school children to  achieve their goals. Common goals that PKYF sets for these children are good grades, citizenship and school attendance. Additionally, it is our annual intention to fund at up to (3) scholarships for deserving high school seniors. The money for the scholarships come PK Bike Day, our annual event to honor Patrick Kelley and his ideals for children in the Las Vegas Valley.

The students are selected from the inner city schools and programs, such as the Greater Las Vegas After School All Star program. When these students reach their goals they are invited to our annual celebration to be rewarded with a bicycle and helmet of their choice as well as a celebratory barbeque. Attendees consist of Patrick’s family, friends, and community supporters. It is truly as special and memorable day for those attending as it is for those deserving students.

How Can YOU Help?

1. Has your business been a co-sponsor of PK BIKE DAY. Current corporate supporters include Walmart, ESPN, Penske, and Mass Mutual, as well as a growing number of small local businesses. Please contact us to receive a corporate sponsorship package.

2. Bring a new, assembled bicycle and helmet to PK BIKE DAY. Annually we distribute over 250 bikes from 16″ to 24″ in size with safety helmets.

3. Let us do the work for you! Throughout the year you can visit our website and donate for the purchase of a new bicycle and helmet, or toward our Scholarship Program.

4. Organize a Bike Build. New this year, for a minimum (50) bike donation, the Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation will assist you in organizing a teambuilding bike build for your company or social group. Contact us for additional information on how you can build your team while building rewards for some of our cities most deserving kids.

We welcome you to join us for PK BIKE DAY 2014 and see what PKYF is all about, first hand! This year’s annual PK Bike Day event will be held Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Piero’s Italian Cuisine located at 355 Convention Center Drive. We offer a Silent Auction, 50/50 Raffle, and plenty of activities for the family.

The Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation is capable of achieving our goals through the generosity of our friends and associates.

With sincere gratitude,

Evan Glusman
